Fray Bentos Corned Beef

Does anyone know why I cannot get the above product. Not in Sainsbury's, not in Tesco's, not in Iceland, not in Netto.

I can't help specifically here, but I know what you mean, exactly the same has happened with Vesta Paella, KP Salt and Vinegar Peanuts, and Walkers Tomato Ketchup Crisps.

Ask the store manager, I did, and was told the line had been discontinued.

Why does it have to be Fray Bentos? The best corned beef by the way is M&S.

Just to let you know whiffey you can get KP salt and vinegar peanuts in Asdas at 3 packets for �2.50.Jamjar have you been to Morrisons they may well stock it. g

i once found a joint of finger with the nail still intact in a tin of corned beef.

Thank you all. I have today tried M&s Corned Beef and my husband gave it full marks. Am still curious why Fray Bentos has disappeared from our shelves.

Aldi do a nice corned beef it is more meatier than Fray Bentos with not the amount of fat either.

we cant get fray bento,s in australia , heinz make something simaler called hamper but it is like a soggy mess when you try to use it not like fray bento,s i think the govt control all the big firms thats why they do away with traditional things

It has also disappeared in the USA, the space is still there but it has been empty for a few weeks ???
