So what gastro-treats are ABers enjoying or going to enjoy for supper/dinner this evening

Here - hand-foraged mussels from the Fal Estuary (Got enough for two meals x 4 people) so moules and frites. The shallots and garlic are chopped, so too the flat parsley. Homemade mayo in the fridge now - and the mussels cleaned up and have had 3 washes already. Just the cooking and the fries to do........

Wine in the moules, a small glass of 'Pheasant Gully', a M&S Sauv Blanc....plus some of their d-cream and excellent Nomandy cream when it comes to steaming them and the finishing.

Indian - Curry Box package bought in for the weekend. Tonight:

Lucknow Mutton Korma, Aubergine Curry, Spicy Potato, Naans.
Is it Easter? We’re just having whatever I can find in the fridge or freezer. Probably a bit of fish.
I've just had a huge plate of buffalo style spicey wings with a garlic mayo and blue cheese dressing, plus a large, lush and perfectly ripe avocado. Makes a change as they've not been edible lately.
Wine and chocolate later.

We had crispy duck and then sticky beef and chowmein. Mr BM just asked for pud. Cheeky sod.
I had a fish finger and tartare sauce baguette at lunchtime so haven't felt hungry since.
Malabar prawn curry, aubergine bhaji, chapatti and pilau rice. Not terribly impressed with the curry - won`t be making that again.

Chinese puds don't mount up to that much, Barmaid, red bean paste, mango creams, coconut or milk creams, deep fried apple or bananas and that's your lot!

Bird's Eye, Lady CG? (a tad of bird's eye chilli perhaps?)....

What gets me with a lot of Far Eastern curries, as in Sri Lankan, Goan, Malay, Vietnamese, Thai etc, I have found is the fish sauce - it doesn't sit well with me. Now Szechuan or Tandoori (N-West/Mogul) curries I love.....
Just eaten buttery chicken curry, & OH and son, had chicken Madras. Enjoying a glass of cold Chardonnay.
I`ve never encountered fish sauce apart from thai - I love chilli chicken with sweet basil (of which they now sell in Tesco, pleased to say)
