Would you need a strong head to drink these? Are they almost undiluted spirits?

Martini (Vermouth) on it's own is nasty, on adding the vodka or gin generously, makes it a true martini, & don't forget the olive.
/Would you need a strong head to drink these/

No as we're a nation of alcoholics. I can't believe how many times I read something like /Had a bad day, wine is now open/ and then many others will chime in with what they're drinking.

Q-Why do people have to use alcohol as a crutch to deal with their daily problems?
A-because their secret alcoholics who deny that they can't give up their tipple.

I'm yet to hear //Had a bad day, went for a jog or to the gym/

Don't get me wrong,I love a drink but I use it in the context it was made for which is to go out an socialise and not sit on my lazy behind on the internet all night rambling which is okay every once in a while or if you're disabled, have no family or friends or live far away from civilisation but for an able bodied person who lives in close close proximity of places to go out yet stay on the internet doing this every day and all weekend? I'd prefer to go out and get a life.
I remember my gran enticing me to drink Sherry when I was a kid as it wasn't real alcohol. I don't know about other Sherry but the stuff she bought was like paint stripper.

It is quiet (boring) on here today, where is everyone?

Tell me when you're going out next for a good time Broseph and the general location.
/It is quiet (boring) on here today, where is everyone?/

It's a hot day,the beginning of the weekend so my guess is having a life? Then again they may just be shopping for alcohol and arranging their drinks for yet another weekend internet marathon.

And before anyone asks I've been out since 6am,have just recently came in and will be going out to socialise for the whole weekend.
I only come on here for the rays of sunshine that glow from the screen like yourself, Bro.
Same here
Yum! Pour vodka (or gin if you must!), open vermouth & waft fumes over the glass taking care not to spill any into the drink - if you insist, then one or two drops have been known to be acceptable. The measure of spirit determines the length of waftage. Enjoy. Repeat as required.
Mamyalynne I'm currently in Camden (North London) and will be hitting up some bars around here, then will be going to Clapham (South London) to meet some other friends for more drinks and food, then will be going out to west London to find a club playing house unless we hear of any better ideas.

If you're around the vicinity at the same time and want to come out just leave me your email addy and I'll email you where we are, what time we're expected to stay and come on down and join the party.

Now that is a shame, I'm in Lancashire and only just able to walk to the front door, but imagine me there in spirit/s.
...I thought you were in France with Shoota? ;o)
Shurrup you!!
:o)

Ahh,Lancashire. The perfect place to be on a cold winters evening with a hotpot and some good cheese. Will remember you,is there a lancashire beer or cocktail I could have whilst out and about that you could recommend?
Lancashire cocktail - shandy

Legs it...
Shandy!! How very dare you.

We have a few Microbreweries here, not sure whether the beers have made it to the deep South yet.

Mug of Oxo?
Love the quotation

I like to have a martini.

Two, at the very most.

After three, I’m under the table.

After four, I’m under my host.
/Mug of Oxo?/

Haha,I had to google that. It's essentially a stock cube disolved in hot water and you wan't me to order that on a night out? I'd be beaten up and thrown out the bar if I ordered that.
I'm not into bitter,I ordered it once and nearly projectile hurled as it tasted like vinegar. God knows how people drink that poison then again they're from up north which is known for "real men" with stomachs of iron and skin of kevlar as it could be -30,a hurricane and a torrential downpour yet you'll see everyone wearing t-shirts on a night out saying "This isn't cold you southern fairy"
