Katie price married Alex Reid just a few months after her divorce from Peter Andre cam through.
Now just after 11 months that marriage has broken apart as well.
When should you move on do you think it depends on the person, or should there be minimum time to let your heart heal ????

In my experience most relationships have ended a long time before people split up.

Katie Price is impulsive though. I don't think she thinks her decisions through before acting on them.

It does depend on the person ... in fact, it depends on both of you.

It took me ages to get over Pencil Dick.

I was still quite upset the next morning.

Mind you, I did wake up quite early.

I think it depends on the person/people. Although for some reason these days it's seems unacceptable to be single for any longer than a couple of months.

I wouldnt compare yourself with those two idiots!
They both did it for publicity, dont doubt that for a second. They are both better off financially and career wise post break-up than before they met.
Now, there will be a new fly on the wall series for each of them looking at how they are coping with the split etc... Its rubbish!!!

To answer the question, it is an individual thing and can be based on length of relationship. whether it is mutual or whether one party wants to break up and the other does not, is there kids involved etc.... So no, shouldnt be a minimum time to heal. But on the other hand life goes on!!

I know after i split up with my partner of 7 years i was single for nearly 4 years before i moved on to meet my current partner who i have been with for almost 8 happy years :).
That time as a single mum with my kids was the best time i had to learn about myself.

I once read something that it takes half as long as the relationship lasted to fully get over someone. That said, I do think it depends on the actual relationship and the cirucmstances that surrounded the break up.
