Anything that shows you've put some thought in to it... (which the DVDs are if she likes that kind of movie)... doesn't have to be expensive :-)
To be honest no - I'd rather have jewellery.  It doesn't have to be that expensive!  But to be fair, I don't like those type of films anyway.
if you think she'll like them, get them :o)

It depends on if shes a dvd person or not? I like the idea, but its not very memorable! If it was me, id like something girly! You can get a teddy bear from a shop called the teddy bear factory (or something like that!) you record your own message on it and they stuff if for you! Obviously depending on what you record, it'll be a lovely gift and ever lasting!

Did you not already buy her diamonds for the engagement ring? It never occurred to me to expect a wedding present like that from hubby.

Anyway, I like your idea, even though I'm not a big weepie fan.( I don't like the talking teddy, btw )

If you want something symbolic, without spending loads, you could consider a piece of non-diamond jewellry that is something like a love-knot, or a locket. Or a Lovespoon, a traditional wedding gift for luck and many happy years together.

I have a strange sense of humour and romance, so how about a piece of coal, with the promise to have it compressed for your anniversary!!
