short break with 18month old

I am looking for a short break away (3nights) with my wife and 18mth old son. I am happy to look for a cottage/lodge/B&B in cumbria/northumberland/southern scotland and would appreciate any recommendations. Many thanks

Centerparcs in Penrith - plenty to do, kids club available even for babies - great pool for toddlers - relaxed in evenings, can take baby into any restaurants or buy stuff and eat in. Can get a trailer for the bike for the wee one. Quite cheap to take them at that age, the majority of things that you can do with toddlers are either free or cheap. Definitely cater for the family market. Benn many, many times!!!

Portpatrick, its the most beautiful little fishing village on the Mull of Galloway, southern Scotland. Lots of B&Bs hotels cottages and caravans. Great scenery and lots of peace and quiet.
