oh take the money - she will still be waiting for you with that amount in your pocket
No way to communicate? Where's this job? On the Moon? Believe me, if she knows you'll be $180,000 richer by this time next year, she'll hang around for you.
To move to the USA you will have to fulfill visa requirements. Look into what you need to do before you decide
Facetime can't be used in some countries including Saudi
It might be a good idea to look into the practicalities of your various options before coming to a decision. You say that your girlfriend wants you to move with her to the USA but the vast majority of people who want to live in the States simply CAN'T.

In order to move there you'd need to show that you'd got a valid reason, such as going to perform a job that couldn't be done by an American citizen (e.g. if you were a famous actor or international sports star) or having close family ties there. Even then, it can be an incredibly lengthy and complex task to get a residence visa. My friends, for example, qualified under the 'close family ties' rule (because their son, married to a US citizen, was already living there) but it still took OVER TWO YEARS of form-filling and interviews before they were finally allowed to make the move.

So there would be no point in turning down the job, on the basis that you'd then move to the States with your girlfriend, if such a move simply wouldn't be possible for you anyway.
Go for the money, if it's true love it will stand being parted for a year.
Barry, I wasn't referring to Facetime, I said 'communicate'. People can phone one another, use the internet and even write letters -unless they live in China or North Korea.
Take the dosh. Plenty more pebbles on the beach/fish in the sea, etc, etc, etc. :-J
Take the job...you may not get another opportunity like it.
Can your girlfriend go with you? That's what my daughter did when her partner was sent to Australia for a year. Her flight was paid for as was their housing.
180,000 sounds loads but which dollars are we talking about? Aus? US? where is your job youve been offered actually going to be based?
The contract is for 180000 but is that your wage?
I would advise you to take the job as you might end up resenting your girlfriend if you miss a possible once in a lifetime opportunity. If it's real love she'll wait for you
