i have this friend she always notifies me about work assessments late at night when she receives them early in the day.I confronted her about it and she explained that she forgot and it didn’t matter as i was always awake at night. Do i still have the rights to be mad?

What are you mad about? The notification or the work assessment? Are you supposed to work on the work assessment?
I assume its work that needs to be done tiggerblue but yichuns notified late in the day leaving not enough time??

hi tigerblue i was mad that she did not immediately notify me.The text was about a change in timing for my job tomorrow morning and she told me only told me late at night
I didn't quite understand, Bob as it was a friend rather than a work colleague. And if a friend, are they asking them to help with the work assessment. Bit confused here so will leave...
Portugal has passed a law that no one can be contacted by their employer out of work hours.
Why don't you get your work assessments from your tutor? Her casual attitude could make you late with them, or maybe that's what she wants.

my apologies tigerblue as i did not realise how work assessment could be wrongly understood as a project in school, i meant more of a job and my working hours
Well in that case, Yichun, demand that you get notifications much earlier. Its not fair on you at such short notice.

hi cashier my boss only decided to notify her and im guessing told her to notify me as well as maybe he felt it was more convenient ?

hi tigerblue thanks for the advice my friend feels that it isnt a big problem as im always awake to see the messages and announcements
Your boss should be notifying you directly, not through a third party.
yichen; whether or not you get mad depends on where you live and what 'mad' means in your language, and whether or not you have a short fuse.
If you're not happy with her, then why not tell her without getting angry?
She still needs to let you know as soon as she receives them. What happens if you should have turned up for work but didn't know? Tell her to contact you sooner.
Depending on where you work and what you do, there should be some sort of policy in place so that your shifts are planned.

well atheist previously she suggested that me and my other friend work alternate weeks so that she wouldnt earn lesser as i work in parcel and the lesser parcels we get to deliver, the lesser money we earn. She explained that she only felt this way as im already seem very tired after the working that week. So maybe it felt like she was sabotaging me in a way?
Question Author
tigerblue, i work as a delivery person sometimes when there a fewer parcels we are not required to work thus, we do not have fixed shifts or hours
This 'friend' wants you and another friend to work alternate weeks, earning less money, but doesn't want her wages to go down. Sounds a bit suspicious to me, you need to ask your boss to send you Work assessments.

cashier, to be vry fair i also did not rlly want her to work as we were already very little money. She suggested that after we both felt the same(not wanting our third friend work)
She doesn't sound like a friend if you feel she's trying to sabotage you.

You definitely need to get your work assessments from your boss rather than your so called friend.
Why not just ask your boss to notify you directly?
