I have so many relatives now who all share exactly the same names is there any way to have them sorted by date of birth within that name ,on the list of names they are just randomly listed and it is quite difficult to compare them

I suppose you could change the names on their profiles, to (for example) John Bradford Smith, John Dover Smith, and so on, but you’d still gets hints for John Smiths.
Year of birth temporarily after their name?

I'd do as CaC suggests - it won't actually sort the names (there may be a way to do that, I don't know) but at least it'll identify them for you at a glance.

I can,t change the names that,s just silly,it is not because of the hints I am sharing my tree with a relative and it would be much easier for them if they came in date order when we have over 40 Williams with the same surname
Question Author
yes I could do as CaC suggests I will try a few and see what it looks like, I suppose the site would list them by date for you if it were possible
