Does anyone know if the light goes off to show that the unit is fully charged? There's no mention in the leaflet but we've had it charging for hours and have no idea whether it's fully charged or not as the red light is permanently on!

Is it the first time you have put it on charge? Some appliances take up to 24 hours for the first charge.
