My cousin has been to court regarding access to his child after breakdown of relationship with childs mother, they were not married. The court ruled that he could have the child every other weekend from friday after school until sunday 4pm. The mother is being awkward and said he can only see child on a sunday. He will go to the school tomorrow with court order ( which they have a copy of) to collect child (who wants to spend weekend with dad) Can the school refuse to let child go with dad if mom also turns up & objects???

I'm no expert, but I don't see how anyone can refuse to comply with a court order. Unless an injunction has been obtained since the court order was made.
You need to hope that NJ sees this to give his expert advice.
Has he told the ex that he will be at the school tomorrow?

yes, she knows. Theres no reason for her objection, other than a desire to make things awkward. He's going to visit the school tomorrow morning to remind them. If the school refuse to allow him to collect child, surely they will be in breach?
If the mother turns up it'll be her in breach. The school have been shown that a court order is in place so will let the child go with dad...but they can't be expected to carry out court orders.
