Don't forget, if you celebrate it, it's an early Mother's Day this year, on Sunday, 6 March ...

Never had a real Mum so my problem's been finding a card that isn't to smoochy and hearing her say.....What do you want to be wasting your money on a card you silly girl..... Yet I do it every flippin' year.... I do envy those with a lovely mum though....:-(

My brother always does ...
Can't forget. We're singing 'Let it be' on Sunday and are very fed-up of rehearsing it! (It's the 'Mother Mary comes to me' line - Paul was writing about his mum.) Straight afterwards, we shoot off 40 miles for a lamb roast lunch with daughter and grandchildren - looking forward to that although this evening they were notified that Scarlet Fever has broken out in their school! The poor kids are still scabby (Chicken-pox) and scaly (eczema - stress of recent move) but at least are more-or-less presentable to the world.
Not for me...

Every day should be a day you think of and celebrate your Mum..And most of all tell her you love her :o)
Well, I'm certainly not looking forward to that..
I did try when she was alive, maizie. 16 years and I still miss her so much....
Me too jourdain
2 years for me joudain...and every time we were together I told her how much I loved her Thinking of you and your loss xxx

She always expected a Mothers Day card. I don't, such a rip off
Your mum never goes, does she? almost in tears now over here. Thank you both.
Actually, I've just done the sum and it is 26 years since she left me... I can't believe it. Definitely crying now. xxxx
On Mothers Day I always fetched my Mum over to ours. I would make her favourite lunch and whilst it was cooking we would play gin rummy and drink lager and smoke, she loved a ciggie...I do miss her :o(
Awww...Big hug from me joudain...and don't cry it would make your Mum sad xxx
Ta, maizie - still weeping, but I'll come round. Thank you so much :0) xxx
I know, it's not easy...Night, sleep tight xxxx
Last Mothers' Day I came home from work and thought it would be a good idea to stop off at the supermarket to buy a bottle of champagne and some flowers for my mum. She never even saw them because she had decided to go upstairs to her bed to die. I don't like all of the Mothers' Day hype - some of us would rather forget all about it
I shall think of my Mum and MIL, both no longer with us.
Awww SJ...That must have hurt xxx Let all just forget about Sunday and get drunk instead :o)

And I have no Idea where that video came from...Sorry x
Still remember the horror of my mum's death on Red Nose day when I had been acting daft all day in fancy dress at the school where I was teaching
