Would a big age gap between a couple not be too bad, if the younger person parents are a lot older than them plus they have siblings around the same age as the partner.

Or is it always a bit odd if there's a 15+ age gap?

Not for me BTW . . .

it depends on the couple and is entirely down to them and no-one else
I think it depends a bit on their ages. If it's a 16 year old and a 31 year old then that's a bit odd. If the youngest person was older, say in their 30's then I don't think it's so much of an issue. That's just my opinion though.

One of my best friends met her current bf when she was 23 and he was 38. They've had 4 happy years together and a beautiful son but she says she is now really begining to notice the difference due to their ages and I don't think they will be in a relationship much longer. Other peoples experiences will be different though.
the couples parents and siblings are not relevant, its about the couple. like all relationships some work and some dont.

Like in my brothers case, his daughter is only 15 years younger than him, so going out with someone his age would be wierder than if my brother was 25 or 35 years older and the boyfriend was 15 years older than the girlfriend . . . IMO
I'm a bit confused about what you just said...

So, your brother was 15 when he became a father and you're saying it would be weird if his daughter went out with someone the same age as him? Is that right?
Didn't she mean her bro has a 15 yo daughter. It would be odd if the daughter went out with a chap the same age as her dad.

No. I got that wrong. The daughter is 15 years younger than her dad, I think.
Age difference only matters when one wants to go out clubbing and the other wants to sit in front of the fire with a nice cup of cocoa.
It would be weird if I went out with someone my Dad's age. Esepcially as he was 36 when I was born.

My neice is 15 years younger than my brother, i was jsut using ehr as an example, but isn't the person in question.

My brother was born in Manchester and brought up in London, he then moved to Scotland, then to Wales, he's never lived in Norfolk.
Some of them Mancunians have funny ways
Molly - this is not leading up to you having a date with Sqad is it ? (:o/
I still don't get it. Your brother was 15 when he became a father or not?
Age gaps dont have to be weird at all. I have just turned 24, my fiance turned 40 last August.
My step children to be are 11 and 14, and we have no problems at all.

My fiance gets on great with all my family, especially my dad and SIL, but then I guess being a dad himself that makes sense, and my SIL is only 2 years older then him so they get on really well.
