I'm really concerned as I haven't felt so much as a flutter & I'm in my 18Th week!!

I've been reading over & over on the net, people saying they felt it at 15 weeks, it feels like bubbles/flutters! However, I've not felt a thing. My bump is getting bigger & I only get the odd ache now & then (obviously due to things stretching) so I'm hoping all is Okay in there.

Help a little worried Kate... x

I think you'll find most women worry through pregnancy - It's only natural!
i didnt feel anything at all until my 22nd week.
i didnt feel anything at all until my 22nd week try not to worry.
sorry double posted there. i felt the same as you k82 and at my check up with the midwife at 22 weeks i told her this and as if on cue the first i felt him move was when the midwife ran the doppler thing over my stomach he kicked right on the mic and made a really loud noise.
Its perfectly normal to feel baby move at this stage in a first pregnancy and chances are the movements are still not quite strong enough for you to feel or recognise yet. I think I was about 20 weeks when I felt movement with my first, but earlier with my second only because I was able to recognise it as baby moving.

If you are really worried though, set your mind at rest by giving your midwife a quick call. She will be able to reassure you better.
Don't worry Kate, I felt the same as you at 18 plus weeks. I started feling definite movements from 23 weeks and now at 27 weeks, he spends most of the day and night summersaulting, punching and kicking. I swear he's going to be a Gymnast!
Hi there k82,
I didn't feel my baby until i was 20wks, like others have said every1 is different and if you look through a lot of the books they say you prob wont feel nothing till 18wks+ so no need to worry

Thanks Velvetee, at least I'm not the only one.
I have my 20 week scan Monday so that should put my mind at rest!
K82, I also didnt feel anything definite until 23-24 weeks, this was in part due to the fact that my placenta was at the front therefore 'dulling' any kicks that may have been made. Try not to worry, every pregnancy is different to the next.
It's really freaky when you get to the stage where you can actually see baby moving, as your bump pulsates. It is reassuring though, feeling those movements everyday. Mine moves constantly throughout the day and night and seems to be more active soon after I've eaten.

Good luck with your 20 week scan, you'll be amazed by how much your baby has grown since your 12 week scan.
