Ovulation confusion

Hi,

Not sure if anyone can help me, but I'm driving myself mad!!!
My last period started on 7th Jan (light for 2 days and then more of a 'normal' period), so I think I am on day 21 now (27/01/09).
I had a miscarriage in Nov and since then have had 2 proper periods (Dec & Jan), both were a perfect 28 day cycle. So, based on this I have done ovulation calendars on the net which have told me that fertile days this month are around the 18th Jan.
I have been doing OPK sticks since last Monday (19th) I have negatives all week so thought I may have missed it and finally got a positive last Sunday! Nearly a week later than expected!
The other thing is that the past two times that I have fallen pregnant (both ended in MC) I have had a cold/flu which has lasted for about 2 days. The same thing has happened this month (been off work today) and going by when I 'should' have ovulated this feeling has fell at the same time as the last twice IYSWIM?!

Any ideas? Could I already be preganant or is it really wishful thinking?!?!
Thanks and sorry for the rambling on!!
BB xx

sorry i dont know what iyswim means, nor opk, but i wonder if you should give your body a break for a bit? if you only had a miscarriage in nov, it might be worthwhile leaving it a bit before trying to get pregnant again.
as for your question - no-one can tell you, but dont orget the ovulation kits will only tell you when you have ovulated, whereas i would have though best time to do sex to get pregnant would be a few days before you get a line

Sorry - IYSWIM = if you see what I mean!! & OPK = ovulation predictor kit!!!!

The OPK shows BEFORE ovulation occurs, so you know when is best to 'try'- ie 12-72 hours after the + OPK.
Its just a waiting game isn't it? I know exactly how you feel, I was trying for a baby but had to stop now due to financial reasons.
As hard as it is (trust me I really know!) you have to relax and just wait until you miss a period, then test!
A site I used to go on is www.babycentre.co .uk. This is full of other like minded obsessed baby people!! It can make you even worse though but is also a good support network.
