Hi, I've been trying to conceive since getting married last June and still no sign (only a couple of false alarms!!).
If I go to the doctors, do you think they will be willing to do anything, and if so what?
Anyone else been in this situation - what did the doc say?
Thank you!

Hi LuBlu

Two friends of mine are going throught he same thing. One has been trying for a year and another just under. both already have children.

The Docs have told both of them similar, in that it's very normal to be trying without joy for up to a year and that stress can be a factor! I think it's only after a year will the Doc investigate!

It's easier said than done, but try not to stress x
you're doctor will ask you to try for a year, then after that they will take blood tests, and check your partners sperm count. from there they can look into any problems that have shown up, and/or give you chlomid possibly to increase your chances. i hope all goes well, i know its frustrating that you feel its never gonna happen, but you've got your husband by your side, and when it does happen you'll feel like the happiest woman in the world:D xxx
hi there i tried for 3 years without any hope then the doctor agreed it was time for me to get some help. she said they have to wait at least 2 years and do lots of tests. At one point they told me my womb split into two which was devastating, but a further scan showed it was shaped like a heart. eventually i was sent to the fertility clinic who where just wonderful 2 weeks before i was going to start fertility drugs i did a test and it came up positive. so there is hope for us all. dont worry to much if u put it to the back of your mind and remember it will happen. it will. positive thinking goes a long way. good luck to u. xx
