Ok, this might sound like a daft question, but my little one is moving around soooooooooooooo much at the moment!! i honestly can't remember many times during the day when i don't feel something and i'm not talking little shifts - i mean proper big movements - like limbs and turning round and stuff. is this normal?? it's just that only 15 weeks ago i felt almost nothing, now it's amazing how different it is and i'm worried it's not settled. or is it just becuase now it's big and therefore more obvious?

Thanks, Lorraine

i asked this same question of my midwife last time i was pregnant.

No there is no such thing as too much movement. Too little movement can signal baby in distress but too much is just baby moving in sleep as well as when awake, something that made sense when my son was born and would move up and down his cot in his sleep.

Its not very comfy for mum though is it.

Give your midwife a call if you are concerned, as always

sounds like you have a very active baby dont worry one of mine was like that, he didn't sleep much when he was born maybe you have an up and coming footballer
Lorrymac have you got a fidget in there too like I have? lol Mine likes to stretch sometimes and that is agony!

Can anyone remeber the clip oldgrape posted a little while ago of baby grape kicking away in the bath, both feet going at the same time? Im positive that my baby was doing that in there last night!

How long have you got left Lorrymac?
