Early 40's, sterilised, then reversal which failed, then IVF which worked(12 years ago). Have never used contraception in last 12 years, still have regular periods. Surely there is no chance I would ever fall pregnant is there?? ( Dont want to either). Just somebody said to me that I should still be using contraception " as you never know!"

Oh yes, I saw that. But surely no contraception for 12 years and nothing......??
Yes but have you had sex during those 12 years?
I wouldn't say it's zero. Probably one in a few hundered thousand. Like it says on the Lottery.....It could be yooooooooo.
if you have been sterilised, i don't see how you could
i have a cousin who has gotten pregnant twice while on the pill, then while using the coil, then she got sterilised and yep some time after she got pregnant again. I read a while ago (sorry no link but you can probably google and find info) that theres something like a 13/1000 chance that you will can pregnant after being sterilised for over 10 years.... the figure i stated may not be correct but it was something like that..
