I'm trying to track down the name of a nappy rash cream I used for both my son and daughter between 1978 and 1982. It was the only thing that worked for them and I want to buy it again for my grand- daughter. I just can't remember its name and can't find it in Boots where I used to buy it. It was sold in a white tube with some blue printing and I think it may have been Scandinavian but can't be sure. The cream itself was a bit like Vaseline but much more effective. There's obviously a strong possibility it just isn't manufactured any more but if anyone can help I'd be very grateful. Many thanks in advance.

Thank you all for your useful replies - what a wonderful response!! Unfortunately the cream I'm after is none of the above. Have been using Bepanthon but not quite as effective as the old cream. Wish I had a better memory! The search continues!
I used a cream which I think was called Camillosan. It had camomile in it and I bought it from health food shops I think. It was very good.

Egg white is fantastic for nappy rash. My daughter gets it really bad with teething, I've tried every cream available (including on prescription) and egg white is the best solution I've found.
The best cream for nappy rash is Conotrane. I used this on my son and have recommended it to numerous friends, who also had brilliant results.
