What would be the best present I could bring, or the most helpful thing I could do for my friend who is a single mother of a 3 week old baby?
Seeing as I'm not a mother I wouldn't know! I will be staying with her for a week, and I want her to have the best, most relaxing time ever. Any parenting tips would be appreciated too! Thanks. xx

just beeing ther letting her get some sleep offer to watch the baby whilst she has a bath take her some relaxing bath stuff... i bet she will just be glad to see a friendly face ask if there is anything the baby needs as im sure she is the best one to say!

may i just say she is lucky to have a friend as kind and caring as you! good luck and have fun!
take a couple of candles and let her get a candlelit bath in peace for an hour! Also, just be there to admire the baby and to listen. You could give her some babysitting iou's for her to use in the future! I think that for me, the saddest thing about being a single mum would be not having someone to share the little moments of every day with a baby with and also your hopes and dreams for their future. Have a good time and let us know how you get on.
the best thing you could do is just be there for her, help her out regards to her catching up on her sleep, and maybe just taking the baby out for a walk so she can have a bath and pamper herself for abit
Hi, I saw this and thought of you!(well your friend, lol!)

I wish I had had one of these as I had to write down what time I fed him so I didn't forget as I had so much else on my plate and was so tired the first few weeks!

Have fun and hope this helps! I think its a great idea.
best wishes

How about buying her a gift voucher for a clothes shop or a salon? Then look after the baby for a couple of hours while she goes out and gets herself something new to wear or gets her hair done.
I know both were great pick me ups after I had my first baby!
some nappies, something she goina need and are expensive if she is on her own
