i was always told not to by my docs when i was expecting but hey ms spears has just gone dark so it cant be that bad!
it wont hurt the baby but it could hurt your hair often perms dont take and colours dont come out as intense as they should on pregnant women due to hormones apparently try a strand test and if thats ok its probably ok to do your whole head hope this helps
Medically it is safe..but as Ms.Hijinx has correctly pointed out, your hair may not take the colour too well!
you should wait until after 12 weeks, i havent dyed my hair while pregnant as one of my pregnant friends ended up sat in a hairdressers for 4 hours after the dye reacted with her hormones and they had to repair the orange!
My hairdresser tells me she won't dye or perm her clients hair if they are pregnant... not because it's particularly unsafe but it can do funny things to your hair. I too had a friend who ended up with bright orange hair even though it was the same dye she always uses.
