Warning- TU baby clothes

(Sainsbury's)

Have today returned some leggings where the velvet ribbon completely came apart, and J found our daughter lying in the playpen with the nylon fibres wrapped round her throat. Luckily she's OK.

While at the service desk, saw another recall notice for a swimsuit where the flowers came off.

I have told them I want a full recall on the clothes, but meanwhile I want this publicised as much as possible, as I don't think an A4 poster at the back of the service desk is adequate - do you?

Please be sure to check all your baby purchases, and tell your friends to do the same.

Thanks for the warning   ann_h; I will be sure to check  in future.  Are Sainsbury's cooperating with your wishes?  I'm not sure how else you can go about getting a recall but good luck anyway.

Might be worth phoning your local Trading Standards Offfice to see if they've had other complaints.  You can probably find them under your local Council Offices in the phone book.
Hi - hope you don't mind - I am copying and pasting your warning thread on one of the Boards I post on, on a website called Babycentre.co.uk. (Won't post your name though).
