Children pool in garden

We bought a children's swimming pool that can be inflated/deflated to fit in our back garden. Is there anything we can lay under it so it doesn't ruin our garden turf/green since it'll be pretty heavy on the garden turf once there's water in it?

Also, is there a way of conveniently storing it away after deflating it each time? The last one we had ended up sitting there forever deflated and became dirty (after a while) as we didn't know how to dry, fold or store it after each use.

Our pool has never hurt the turf, but we only leave the pool inflated and with water for two days. We drain it and I toss it over a lawn chair for a while, then flip it over and put it back on the chair for a while. That dries it out. Roll it up and shove it in the shed!
Anything covering the grass for more than a day or two will leave the grass white and dying. The weight doesn't make much difference at all (if any)
The only way to avoid this would be to use a platform which is not really practical.
