(we have sour cream and onion, cool chili and three cheese) OR Beef tomato and Mozzarella salad with torn basil, Greek lemon and olive oil dressing

Mains: Roast chicken with fresh lime, coriander, and garlic

OR

Leg of Lamb cubes marinated in lemon zest, juice, garlic mint and rosemary char grilled
(there are a few minced lamb ones too)

OR

Tuna steak grilled to your liking

to go with above Cornish new potatoes (far better than Jerseys, trust me! )
Mixed salad leaves (Rocket, frisse, lambs lettuce, little gem and baby spinach leaves)
Tomatoes, a big dish of sliced sweet onions, spring onions, pasta salad, home made coleslaw, apple and walnut slaw, ratatouille, flat breads

Puds: There's a fresh fruit salad or a huge dish of English strawberries,
and or lots of homemade sorbets and ice creams of various flavours

I have gallons of cold white wine, lager, cider (both pear and apple) bitter and some Guinness too

Mercia....can you explain your answer in this thread please?

http://www.theanswerb...k/Question897464.html
Oh, fabby fab ...

I have a carton of Gazpacho in the fridge, but I bet it's not as good as yours, mercia.

I'd go for that ... and tuna ... lightly seared.

No pud ... but I quite fancy a pear cider.

=0)
Ooh has to be tortilla chips for me, never tried gazpacho (is that cold soup?) and I can't decide what to have on it either! Hmm...chilli and three cheese I think.

Mains: Roast chicken with coriander, and garlic, Cornish new potatoes
Mixed salad leaves. .
Tomatoes, sweet onions, spring onions, pasta salad, home made coleslaw.

Fresh fruit salad.

Pear cider - discovered Koppaberg (?) yesterday, so nice on a sunny day!

Mmmm :)
Yum ... Koppaberg is scrummy, isn't it Jen !

Waaaay nicer than other normal brands.

Well, my brother in law had been at my house looking after the animals while I was in Devon - he'd been using my computer, i came home to a lot of emails and phone messages, i sat down at the computer to write and had to take a call, when I got back my brother was playing world of warcraft so he must have continued on this site under my name - blimey why do I feel like I have to explain myself every time i come on here - I really will not bother you ever again - my aim was to inspire people to do something different or try something new - and this is what I get for my troubles
Mercia....with all due respect it is well known that people don't like others with multiple names. You cannot blame them/me for asking.

< I really will not bother you ever again - my aim was to inspire people to do something different or try something new - and this is what I get for my troubles>

That's a bit dramatic for a simple question don't you think?
Question Author
No I don't Ummmm, for the simple reason is I've taken more than enough flak,

'why don't you think of poor people who can't afford it'
why are there no photographs
why do you do this
I bet you can't cook really
where's murky foods and her menu's
i call her hyacinthe bouquet
You only have to look at the comments from Docspt, filthiest fits, pasta freak and Boo
on the answers you've hi-lighted
I don't expect everyone to like what I do, but I shouldn't have to put up with that either
Aww, come on guys ...

mercia's posts are harmless, and jolly, and entertaining ...

... how could anyone have a problem with the Daily Menu ?

Mercia....I just asked a question. It wasn't aggressive and as you know I always post on your threads...
Mercia,

My intention to post that was not to drive you from the site, as I said I was confused about the mix up.We're a suspicious lot here, and most of us have had to explain ourselves at least once.

However, I do stand by what I said. There does seem a difference to me between calling someone Hyacinthe Bouquet ; and wishing them dead from a heart attack as you / your brother in law did to Doc.

If you decide to leave, there will be those that miss you, I'm sure.
more proof that some people on here are total frauds..

Yingyang....I know Doc has been a bit sarcastic towards Mercia....but the 'other' mercias post was bang out of order.

And Ed still made it a sticky after I posted my comment..!!
Question Author
Well yin, you've had my answer, believe or not, that's up to you, but can I just point out to you, my Brother in law did NOT wish a heart attack on the AB'er, he said if he wasn't careful he's heading for one - and quite frankly, i really REALLY don't know why i'm even bothering to answer this at all.
It's too hot for all this bullsh!t... lets have a recipe for a nice lemon sorbet or summit eh...

(15:01 on Fri 21/May/10) Well I can't stand the sight of you. Just keep on going the way you are, and we soon won't have to look at you - coz it'll be heart attack city. If you were to spend a bit less on the sherbet, and a bit more on decent food, you might actually look your age, instead of 80 odd

Mercia, you cannot possibly claim that post was made out of anything other than malice.

It makes no difference if I believe you or not, once I walk away from the computer I don't fret about what is happening on here.
Sorbet sounds nice snags....got a recipe???
Doc doesn't look 80 odd either..!!
Question Author
Lemon sorbet: water, lemon juice, sugar, egg white, mix, freeze.
