momcj , Sorry but you are wrong.
The parent with responcibility HAS to give permission for their child to be taken out of the country even for a day trip. Take the child out of the UK without permission in writing and fully legal you are guilty of abduction. You even need full permission to get the child a passport.

Why would you want to stop them going on holiday? You have parental responsibility so she has to inform you if she is taking your child out of the country, but i dont think she needs your consent. Regarding her stopping to see your daughter all together, you would need to go back to the courts if she is not sticking to the contact order.
As far as im aware if you have parental responsibility then the other parent has to ask for permission to take the child out of the country even if it is for one day.

Id post in the law section and ask were you stand.

Eddie you do not need any permission from the father to get a passport ,i know because my children have passports and i did not need any permission from my ex ,they have also been on holiday abroad and again no permission was needed ,he would however need my permission to take my children out of the country if he didn't then it would be abduction
