My Dad died on Friday (94), just 3 months after Mum. He lost heart without her. Have been trying to sort things out, but then had to have our elderly cat to sleep on Monday. I think it is going to be one of those years. I feel stunned!

You will be okay xxx
Sorry to hear that - sounds like a good innings though.....

Focus on all the good times that you had together and things will be a little brighter - make his passing a celebration and not an occasion to be sad.
So sorry :( funny how people 'give up' but they are together again now. Stay strong x
Poor you carole, what a horrible time. :(
its so very very hard when we lose a parent, so I can imagine just how upset you are feeling. Losing your pet too has added to the grief.
try and keep strong carolegif x
carole, my condolences to you and your family.
Together again and at peace.
Of curse you are stunned, but as ummmm said you will get through this ♥
So sorry to hear that but you still have all of us. We are like one big family to you. Isn't that right, fellow ABers?
So sorry to hear of your troubles.
Without sounding disrepectful, they say things go in threes, so that should be an end of it

thank you for your kind thoughts. They had a lovely life together for over 65 years and now they are together.

As to the cat, she is buried in the garden next to her sister, they were both 22 years old.
I suppose it is life's cycle.
It is life carole, but that fact doesn't make it any easier to deal with
<<<<<<big hug>>>>>
65 years together is amazing, they were blessed. Just think what a happy life they had and all 3 lived to a ripe old age!
carole, you must certainly have looked after your cats well, they attained a brilliant age x

Timing has no respect for some of us. I attended my sister's and OH's funerals in the same week.
im so sorry for the loss of your mum and dad , hope you get the strength from all the love they have given you to keep strong and make them proud. God bless you sweetheart ((hugs))xx
