What's the point of this new section - we already have quiizzes and puzzles and the sub-section crosswords - they're all competitions surely so why the duplication?

I think these are one-off competitions as opposed to quizzes and puzzles in regular publications.
Diddly, it's not for competition questions - it's for us to post links to other competitions that people might be interested in entering, i.e. to make us aware of new competitions and draws so we can win things.

Please include the Prize, Closing Date, Medium (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Web) in the title and a link to the submission page and the answer to the question body.

NOTE: this is not a place to ask Quiz and Puzzles question, or to give complete sets of answers to crosswords or quizzes.
I think there are too many sub sections, I.e. Body and soul. I don't look at them or use them.
I don't look at many of the sub sections but they are not harming by being there. Each to his own and all that.
If we didn't have the sub sections and just the main sections, we would see more questions and give more answers. I just forget the sub sections are there.
I rarely look in the sub section just at latest posts, I suppose it depends on the way you use the site and your particular interests and 'specialist' knowledge.
I like to help with crosswords but find I have got to look in 3 sections to find questions I can help with (Crosswords, Q&P and now Competitions).
Unless these are moved to the right sections I think Google searches will take more people to the wrong place (we had a spate of clues in Science last week- since moved) so the problem will remain regardless of any guidance notes saying "this section is not for asking for answers..."
