my pal called to day saying he got a letter from the pension people
stating that they are cutting his pension from the 11th april
did not say how much
his wife is working full time
does that make a diff
hes getting pension credit#
he is a worried man at the moment

I would have thought the letter would have explained the reason.
I would guess his pension credit is being cut.
We could speculate on here but the best thing would be for him to ring the DWP and ask.
I think to get pension credit joint income has to below £200 ish a week so if his pension and her salary are over this it is probably why they have cut it

yes, so you said.
but you posting twice, the other one saying it's State Pension, not Pension Credits, and there is a difference.
Agree with factor - there's only half a story here and letters of this type invariably state reasons for changes. They also include the relevant phone number to ask about the decision and details of rights of appeal.
