Business Diploma question

Not sure if this should be in education or business !
My step-daughter has asked me to help her with one question in her assignment in her Business Diploma course (she’s only 16 bless).
The question is “Compare areas of growth and decline in primary, secondary and tertiary classifications of business activities”
Now I know the 3 main groups are :
Primary sector (produces raw materials such as farming)
Secondary sector ( constructs goods)
Tertiary sector (provides services)
So my request from you guys is to give me examples of businesses in your area that have gone into decline and why, ohh and also where you are in the UK.
Appreciate any help you can give us. She’s done well on local businesses we just need help across the rest of the country.
