does anyone have a positive experience of this lot?

the engineers (openreach) have full control over matters relating to your order with BT

the business relationship is that Openrach contact you and say that they are due (if they turn up) to visit and install or whatever at your premises for their 'client' ... that is not you it is BT

so, when they make a total hash of the order you have to go back to BT and they will prostrate themselves to the overriding power of the engineers who are in principal Bt's supplier....

this is classic 'tail wagging the dog' british industry

Sorry to say that I have had no joy out of BT and BT Wholesale.

I had their telephone and Virgin's Broadband feeding off of it.

For over a year I had to chase BT and tell them I had an intermittent fault. Because of this fault, my BB was throttled back to a snails pace. Paying for two services I wasn't getting my monies worth!

6 Engineer call outs (who didn't have a cue) later and still poor service from BT.

So I cancelled my BT and went with Virgin for telephone and BB.
