i have had to use one of those mechanical tyre inflator pieces of kit at the Shell garage, yes it was free, but, it was one of those silver metal things that you have to depress, then half depress etc, and it was dark and the thing doesn;t have a back light, and so I was ages trying to read the guage!!!! I usually use the one at tescos or asdas where you key in the recommended pressure and then attach the thing and it beeps when it hits that mark, but these metal; ones are awful to use!!! Was i doing something not quite right cos it deflated the tyre first and air was coming out of both sides of the piece you put on the valve! (I'll pay 20p next time at asda!) grrrrr.

probably not, it was at a funny angle ! lol
I'm sure Brokenstoned will have a view...
You do have to make sure that the air pump nozzle is tight over the tyre valve with that particular type of kit, dot.

It was not a simple thing to do, I think i tried using one like that once before and gave up, it's even worse in the dark cos like i said, you can't actually read the gauge thru the plastic in the dark!

he is welcome to his view lol he may even start a predictably saddo thread in homage lol
