2nd Mortgage

If you already have a mortgage can you take out a 2nd one on a different property. If so I would presume you are legally bound to declare the existing mortgage. Thanks for any advice

I see no reason if you can afford it and get someone to loan you the money.

Ask an MP, they do it all the time!!
as long as you have the means to repay it you can have as many mortgages as you want..You would have to declare it as it would be taken into account when calculating your outgoings etc.
