didnt really know where to put this but do ebay do gift vouchers?

Thinking outside the box, I've just gone onto ebay site and typed in gift vouchers and lots came up. For example:

Sorry i obvioulsy didnt make myself clear enough...i wanted gift vouchers for ebay.. as in next vouchers that you can spend in next, well i wanted ebay vouchers you can spend on ebay...

No they don't. eBay doesn't sell anything in the way that Next does - it is simply a place where millions of sellers advertise their goods and a device to facilitate trade.

All sellers would have to agree to accept vouchers - and who would bear the cost?

That was my first thought, Ethel, But then i found this on the ebay site. Does this not count, Ethel?
Any time a seller on eBay accepts PayPal, you can pay for that item using eBay vouchers . To use an eBay voucher, you need to purchase the item with PayPal within 10 days of the item closing on eBay.

You can buy ebay "gift certificates" in US Dollars from the ebay.com site, and they are only for use using the ebay.com site.

You can't do the same thing for use on ebay.co.uk.

The "vouchers" referred to are just discount vouchers that ebay.co.uk occasionally send to ebay members. You can't buy them.
