Hey right, someone owes me 2 grand which they have taken out a credit card to pay me with, they are with RBS and I am with Halifax. I have came to realise they can not go into my bank and request 2000 taken from the credit card and placed into my bank. They don't really want to withdraw the money and pay it into my bank as the interest will be higher and too much messing about! Any other ideas on this? Does RBS allow u 2 transfer credit card fund into their own bank account? Because then they can do an instant bank transfer into my account. Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

It would still be counted as cash transfer, so interest would be racking straight away, as well as any other fees it might attract.

Have you thought of PayPal? I'm not sure - you MUST check - but I think you can receive 2 credit card payments free per year.

There are other ways you can do it for very little cost - involving eBay and PayPal.
