I have rec'd a letter from the dwp saying if i have anyone else living in my house who isn't dependent they must pay a financial contribution to the household expenses. He earns one hundred and sixty pounds a week. How will my benefits be effected?

I know my parents lose out on the Council Tax benifits they cant claim a penny becauce im at home and working
i suppose it depends what benefits you are on i know the housing benefit is reduced if you have non dependants living with you and they look at how much they earn.you should be able to get some information from the benefits websites .
When a non-dependent is over age 18 and their gross pay is between 157 and 203.99, they will take 23.35 off yir weekly benefit. If the gross pay is between 204 and 270.99, theyll take off 38.20 each week.
