I have a contract with vodafone for 25 a month. I went abroad in September and got Vodafone Passport put on there so my calls would just have a connection charge then come off my free minutes. Then I got a bill for 87 and turns out the didnt put the passport on when they should have. They advised my to cancel my direct debit so the amount wouldn't come out and they would send the bill for recalculating. Three weeks and numerous phonecalls later they have come back to me with this: My next bill will have 14 credited on it for my overpayment. I tried to tell them I haven't made the original too high payment but they reckon I have and say they can't take money they have no record of me owing. What do I do now? I don't want to not pay it incase it adversly affects me in the future. They're bound to realise eventually but everyone there seems a bit confused and they can't give me anyone else to speak to to sort it out.

HI B

Whatever the outcome ask them to send you an invoice / statement / anything in writing - this is so that you can cover your own back!

If they at a later stage come back to this - you have something to prove.

Hope this helps...
