getting a joint mortgage after bankruptcy

Me & my partner are both looking to get our first mortgage. however i was made bankrupt in a year & a half ago. How will this affect us & will we ba able to get some king of joint mortgage ? ? ?

No, you will not be able to get any credit through any recognised source for some time.
Loosehead is completely wrong. You are able to obtain a mortgage for example although the interest rate is likely to be a bit higher. Rememver lenders are lending against bricks and mortar so a mortgage product is a much safer risk for them you see. The Myvesta site can help with such information.
