A close friend wants to raise £10.000.. they have no mortgage and own the property they live in.

Equity release isn't an option at this stage.

On chatting to said friend I offered to ask here..on Answerbank.

it a possibility they could get this amount via a loan on the property?

Anyone have advice or ideas.
