I posted an item on eBay and it sold.

It is going to Poland. I don’t have an issue with this but will it cost me more than what the postage covers?

It’s only a game for a Nintendo DS so will be fairly small. So it’s not a huge package. Just curious about what’s likely to happen.

Are you using RM?
Here is a guide to RM prices for posting to Poland:

If it does cost more than you've charged you just have to burden the loss
I have sold some items overseas but they were on the international shipping programme so Ebay added the postage to the buyers invoice but I only had to pay the 2nd class postage of £3 when I printed the shipping label
You've just entered a whole world of pain. At the very least they will claim not to have received it then you'll have issue a refund and all the associated agro with that. Ebay nearly always favour the buyer. I never sell abroad, as much as ebay claim to have set up a painless system it's nowt but agro.

Thank you both for your replies.

Yes it would be with Royal Mail but looking at it should be covered.
I've sent eBay stuff to Poland a few times without problems, all under £100 each - I'd think twice about sending anything valuable though

After all that even thought the buyer was in Poland it’s getting sent to an Address in Edinburgh just up the road so saved myself a whole end of grief .
