Don't know if it has been posted or even if it's genuine but according to this calculator I won't be eligable for a vaccine till around July-Sept.

According to the calculator I should receive mine between 31st january 2021 and the 27th February 2021.

I’m June sometime. I’d be delighted if it was, but think it’s a tad optimistic unless the Oxford vaccine gets rolled out a bit lively.

Did you leave the weekly vaccination rate at 1,000,000 tigger? In the first week they managed 130,000. I know the first week cannot be seen as typical but I think they've a way to go before they get to 1m a week. You can alter the weekly rate to see what difference it makes to your estimated date.

You can alter it, tiggs. I tried it at 500,000 which I believe is a little more realistic.

According to that calculator I will have my vaccine by 20 January.

Based on 500k mine is now put back to Jan-Feb 22 :o(

I'm in the same time band as APG. My situation is a bit complicated though, as I was in the 'shielding' group during the first lockdown but that was due to me being on chemotherapy, which has now ended. Despite that, I still seem to be classed as being within the high risk group though, as I got a letter based upon that assessment just a few weeks ago.

So, if the system simply has me down as 'being at high risk', I should be fairly close to the top of the list. However if the system still thinks that I'm on chemotherapy (and therefore effectively without an immune system), I might well be classed as being totally ineligible for the vaccine and left off the list altogether! (The vaccine works by triggering a response within the immune system. If someone's immune system isn't working, the vaccine can't work either).

I am getting my jab March or April. That seems so far away but it's just around the corner.

My nan is 89 and she hasn't been called yet. The calculator says 27/12 - 19/02/21

If they can manage 1million doses a week and everyone requires 2 doses 3 weeks apart on the 4th 5th and 6th week the second doses will be give so over a 6 week period only 3 million people will be vaccinated, better hope they can do a lot better than 1 million a week

My MIL was called for hers, she is 87. Initially she said no she didn't want it, but now changed her mind & having difficulty obtaining one.
I thought doctors surgeries were gonna start doing them, my surgery is still shut & in darkness!!!
Since this is so important, I would have thought yesterday, Sunday they would still be carrying them out.

Yes I will baz. There was a slight problem in that I may have been out of the country when the my turn was forecast to come round and that may have presented problems. That said, if the forecast of vaccination rollout is as accurate as any other forecast produced during this debacle I need not have worried. But in any case that was firmly knocked on the head on Saturday and I doubt I'll be going anywhere anytime soon.

Since I have no confidence in the NHS to run such a programme efficiently Mrs NJ and I were quite prepared to relieve them of the burden of dealing with us by paying to have it done at a time and place that suited us. But that seems a no-no. So we'll sit and wait for our call up papers. I see vaccination as the only way out of the madness into which this - and most other - countries have descended. One thing's for sure - politicians have no ideas other than to lock everybody away from everybody else (because that's worked a treat so far) and are content to watch the nation's economy and non-Covid health crash and burn in the meantime
