State Pension Date Confused

My wife’s 66th birthday is 19th Jan 2023 ,the date she is supposed to receive her state pension. However she has seen on the internet that she won’t recieve this now until SIX months after her birthday. Is this right ?

within five weeks, not months, normally. She should put in a claim, it doesn't always arrive automatically (I forgot about this but I got it all backdated in the end).

Your date is correct according to Robinia's link.
As your wife was born on 19.1.1957, using the calculator in the link to the Government's website confirms the retirement age will be aged sixty-six on 19.1.2023.
I've just checked my date and it's correct for my 66th birthday.
I also checked my pension forecast. Although it states that I have 44 years of full contributions, apparently I have 3 years since I took early retirement at 58, each with amounts of over £600 outstanding. I'll need to phone them as at present it looks like I'll only get about £140 each week instead of the £167 max. I thought there was a limit on how many full years were needed for a full pension!
