I got my p60 a few weeks ago, I should be getting about 350 tax back. Where do I need to send my p60? Is there a main office I have to send it to, or can I just go into my local tax office? If I send it, do I need to put a letter with it, or will they automatically know that I am owed money? thanks

You do not send your P60 anywhere; it is yours to keep as a record of your earnings and tax deductions for the current tax year and the law requires you to keep a record of your taxable income for at least 22 months after the end of the current tax year so make sure you keep it in a safe place as duplicates are not always easy to get.

Self-employed people must keep records for up to six years after the relevant tax year.

The Inland Revenue will send you your rebate in due course.

... or they will adjust your Tax Coding to reflect what you are owed.

The Inland Reveue should send you a refund automatically, but I personally would send them a copy of your P60 with a covering letter to speed the process up. You sound very sure you are due the refund, I hope you are right!
