Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help, i got into a bit of debt a few years back due to loss of a job and was paying 2 seperate debts to 2 seperate companies. Credit Security and Debt managers ltd. I contacted both companies a while back to enquire the remainder of these debts and was told by both companies that i had overpaid, to a total overall of over £550.I was told to write to them regarding the overpayment etc of which i did do, I emailed also hoping this would speed up the process, Ive yet to hear anything which was over 2 weeks ago.. Im just a little concerned as ive not even had a reply to the email or letter to confirm they have recieved any correspondence and that payment will follow?Ive made several calls but don't seem to get anywhere..Im told they cant tell me how long it will take and there is a backlog of emails which is why ive not recieved a reply.. How long do i leave it before following up again and if i still get no joy who would i contact regarding this?
Thanks for any help

i would write again on paper giving them 28 days to refund you, although it was your error so you should be patient!

I know it was my error and patience hasn't always been my strongest point... I shall write again giving them 28 days to refund but if i hear nothing after this time what would my next step be?
if they are a proper company, they will pay you back!
how long did they have to wait for you to pay what you owed them? Perhaps they will take an equal amount of time?
