We are being bombarded with ads saying they can re-claim loan insurance if you didn't want it need it etc. I took out a big loan and remember signing for it and have paid for it ever since. How realistic are my chances of pursuing a claim if I did sign for the said insurance?

At the end of the day, it is up to everyone to read the small print, if you dont want it or need it, you shouldnt have it. But who can claim that they dont need PLRI, unless they have enough savings to repay the loan should they become unemployed?
jules, it is no good to the self employed, the retired, those who were not working when they out the loan, in some cases people with a known medical condition....
What about the death benefit, would that not apply to everyone, working or not?
