please excuse my nieveity (and spelling) but is it possible to open more than one current account with the same bank.

For example, i bank with XYZ and currently have a basic current account in mine and my wife's name. I'd like to open a seperate current acc but just in my name and keep the joint one open.

Can you do this ?

Many thanks

Yes, no problem at all, I have one bank account in my own name, and a separate joint one, all with the same bank.
sure
Normally, if you already have joint bank account opening a sole account should not be a problem. However if you have had credit problems your bank may not wish to offer you additional facilities.
