Does anyone know how much is the maximum that can be transferred into someone elses account on-line (same bank) (Ive spent forever trying to find out on the phone) , cheers

Unusual to have a limit provided there's enough in your account

It might help if you said which bank - they aren't all identical

Thanks for your replies, the answer was indeed that there's no limit if you have the funds to cover it in your account (at least with the Halifax!).
