As a user of internet banking, I've just received one of these from my bank, which I assume I will have to use in future to be able to access my internet banking facility as a further precaution against fraudsters..
Has anybody used one yet? Are they simple to use and are there any hidden difficulties associated with them?

I have used one now for two weeks without problems. Insert your card and follow the instructions on the reader and screen. If you do internet banking from more than one computer you will need to carry the reader with you.

Thanks. That's reassuring, but what a pain having to remember to pack yet another gadget into my handbag when I go away.
Hi, if this is the NatWest one, you'll only need it in certain situations, not for everyday banking. I used it once just to set it up on the system (about 7 or 8 weeks ago), and haven't needed it since!
