Hi OG are you lost too? Things moving downwards slowly but surely. Thanks for asking Ed.
Cheers Ed.
I think my weight loss is lost, but it'll be a while before I can check again.
2 of the 3½ lb put on taken off again , change of plan is helping as a few extra carbs stops a lot of the snacking. Had to give up my gym membership that was a big blow.
Weight watchers cancelled yesterday, my own scales showing no change so another week will be useful.
Good morning all,
My only message this week is wash your hand and keep well.
They probably didn't want you all sharing out the Corona.
Prefer fanta....
Missed it though, they are a lovely supportive group
Allegedly down 0.2 lbs since last weighing. (The least the digital scales can distinguish.) I can't understand how. When away, meal times are erratic, snacks to keep one going are high calorie, high in saturated fat versions of whatever. Yet it's apparently when we're at my place that my weight increases. Admittedly I don't want my limited time here spent in the kitchen, so most days include one pub meal; but unless they sprinkle invisible calorie powder over everything, I can't see how that accounts for it.
Hard to find a low calorie pub meal, most come close to a whole days allowance unless you stick to chargrilled chicken or fish and salad.
Good afternoon all,
It is Wednesday isn’t it! I hope that you are all well and adjusting to the extreme measures necessary to be taken in these extreme times. My post man just delivered some medicine to me ........at the recommended distance....and I found it quite touching to have a human speaking to me as I’ve been in self quarantine for a week now. How are all of you doing?
Bad back, slight sniffle, no scales around to depress me at present.
Calling OG.....are you still going to the pub and if so how is the social distancing working?
No one to go to the pub with at present. All others avoiding public places. However I was at a restaurant for my sister's birthday meal last night. Our table was the only one there ! No idea how they're coping. Ate too much as expected, so it's probably best I'm not around scales at present ! I suspect that apart from shopping, social interaction may be curtailed whether I choose it or not now. How are you getting on with it all ?
Thanks for the quick answer OG. I’m coping very well thanks. I find lots to keep me busy and entertained. I must admit to having an urge to hug the postman when he delivered a parcel here the other day. Lol
I get my groceries and medicines from online shops and web shops are no stranger to me.
Keep well.....
I had no idea until last night that Chinese mussels are about two to three times as long and wide as the ones normally served. Ordered a plate of "Thai Style" to share with the rest of the table, I had to have most as others turned their nose up at them.
You were right OG, they were wrong. I hope that you enjoyed them. I think I’ll make a Chinese for dinner tonight.
Good morning all, I hope that you are all well and able to keep both body and soul in tact despite the lock down. I’m in 2 1/2 weeks of self isolation and it’s going well. What works for me is planning and making a structured day.
I’ve gone down 2 1/2 pounds and that comes from being careful with my food supplies.....no more popping over to the supermarket to top up supplies. I have a delivery once a week amen. Look after yourselves and try and think positively.
Not getting on the scales at the moment, but just trying to limit the boredom snacks in the evening. I am ok until I stop sewing to wind down for sleep. Currently doing a bedspread that has embroidered panels of pink flowers and blue butterflies. Thing is my design has 30 panels ....
Lucky it's only a single. Hobbies are such a help.
That bedspread sounds lovely Rowan. What type of embroidery are you stitching? Are you interested in a chit chat cross forum.....it’s mainly Americans....we don’t mention trump haha.......but we can show what we’re working on and they are a really nice friendly group of stitchers. If you are I’ll post the address.
Freestyle needle painting, best forums are Australian and New Zealand ones. I get a lot of threads from India and China though. Tried counted cross stitch but it was too structured for me.
