That is soooo good smoball. Life with less meat is doable and much better for you. When you have it then, it’s a real treat. What other things are on your menu? We talk a lot of what we shouldn’t eat so let’s hear some great ideas about what we can eat.
I made a rhubarb and raspberry 'crumble' swapping the topping for porridge oats, sunflower seeds and granulated sweetener, never going back to the old style again. Skimmed milk, sugar free custard... It was lovely. Arabian style Turkey meatballs, falafel and salad, veggie curries, who said diet food is boring
You’re spot on Rowan. I make chicken meatballs with my own cranberry sauce as a side dish, using the granulated sweetener. I’m grabbing your rhubarb and raspberry crumble. It sounds heavenly.
A gain this week after a skirmish with depression and comfort eating that I lost badly. Changed plan on WW to allow more carbs, but less points for snacks etc
Good morning all, oh dear Rowan, hope the skirmish didn’t leave very heavy scars. I’m up by a bit today, the opposite yesterday. Is it the constant rain begging us to eat the ring way......well we have to lay the blame somewhere don’t we!
Hmmm.... 2 days ago I returned back home and the scales claimed I'd lost 1.8 lbs. Surprised but glad of it. Yesterday they claimed my loss had reduced to just 0.6. And this morning down to just 0.2 lbs. I know we ate out once each day at a local pub, but I can't see I'd had enough to put on 1.4 lbs in 48 hours :-(
Rowan I weigh myself every morning as my cardiac nurse has told me to do. It’s do pick up on any weight gain 2 lbs or over which could be a symptom of something else. Besides the medical reasons I find it a good measuring stick for how whim eating can do for that hard fought for weight loss. It’s right for me but perhaps not for others.
Xstitcher, for you it's a really sensible thing but I was wondering if our senior gentlemen member was getting more exercise jumping on and off the scales than I do at the gym.....
