In light of Ed's absence I am bringing you the monthly Weight loss & Dieting thread!

Last month's thread is here.

Last month we saw a variety of really good discussions about weight loss and dieting, which included a lot of hints and tips our users could try.

Did anyone attempt any different methods to their usual dieting routine?

Morning . Lost just over 1lb mainly due to not feeling so well with nasty flu virus and not eating much . So will
Keep on track now as picking up on my eating .

Thank you OG I am feeling lots better now . Just have to get back on track . It was surprising the amount of junk food I fancied but managed to keep clear of some of it .plenty of veg and healthy food now .
No wonder I can't lose. Doing well today. Nearly bedtime, not hungry. Suddenly I'm handed three buttered crumpets, followed by a triple Baileys. sigh What the heck ?
After a really difficult January and February I felt like giving up and not bothering until I unpacked my online shop... All fresh fruit, veg, and lean meat and fish. The only junk was two large bottles of Pepsi max and cinnamon and raisin bagels which I have for lunch sometimes if I want something a little sweeter My subconscious doesn't agree with me.
I understand you Rowan. We aren’t dogs that can eat the same thing every day. I have my diet cola 3 times a year, my birthday, Christmas and Easter . In between I have fridge cold water, with ice in the summer and fizzy water for a treat. You can add a slice of lemon and a sprig of mint to that just to make it look good. You could also say...ok I’ll have my bagel treat on Sunday....or any day that suits you. It gives you something to look forward to. You are doing so well and deserve so many “atta girl” pats on the back. Here’s the place to come for support and understanding.
